Kim Hyun Joong and Jung Yoo Mi will meet Japanese fans on the eve of the premiere of "City Conquest."
The two stars will meet approximately 10,000 fans at Budokan in
Tokyo, Japan and will hold a promotional press conference for their new
drama, "City Conquest." The director will also be attending.
They will show a 30-minute preview of the first episode and they hope
to raise anticipation and buzz about the drama in Japan. They had
previously revealed some dailies in Osaka after filming on location in
July. The release will be held side by side with Kim Hyun Joong fan
club's 1-year anniversary celebration.
For the promotional part, approximately 400 members of the media
including NHK, TBS, Fuji TV and many others from both Korea and Japan
will be in attendance.
Budokan is known to be the homeground of many amazing concerts and is
the dream arena for many aspiring artists who want to expand into
Japan. It's clear that this doesn't happen often and that Kim Hyun Joong
is a very special star in Japan.
The promotional tickets were sold out very quickly and the production
company hopes that this is an indication of the response from Japan.
They said that it would be an opportunity to give fire to the growing
k-pop sensation in Japan.
